Ingredients
1 (16 oz) pkg ground turkey
1 Tbs low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
1 Tbs sesame oil
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp steak seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 pkg Brookshire’s Bakery Onion Hamburger Buns
1 medium avocado, peeled and pitted
2 Tbs fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup lime juice
2 Tbs water
1 Tbs red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
3 cups coleslaw mix
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled
2 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbs cornstarch
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, soy sauce, mustard, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, garlic powder and ginger.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before cooking.
  4. To make the slaw, puree the avocado, parsley, lime juice, water, vinegar and salt in a blender.
  5. Toss the dressing with the coleslaw to combine.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to build burgers.
  7. Preheat oven to 425° F.
  8. Remove the ends of the sweet potatoes.
  9. Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch matchsticks.
  10. Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of water for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from water. Rinse, and dry completely.
  12. Toss the dried sweet potatoes with olive oil to coat.
  13. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch, paprika and garlic powder.
  14. Sprinkle evenly over the potatoes.
  15. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, spread the potatoes in an even layer.
  16. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through cooking time.
  17. Remove from oven.
  18. Season with salt.
  19. To cook the burgers, heat a skillet over high heat.
  20. Add the vegetable oil.
  21. Place burgers in the skillet.
  22. Cook for 6 minutes per side.
  23. Place in a 350° F oven for 10 minutes or until an instant-read meat thermometer registers 170° F.
  24. Place the burgers on buns, and top with the slaw. Serve with sweet potato fries
